How to go from Wii to Green Acres.....

For my second post of the evening I chose my favorite topic. Tv. I love it. Its good for so many things. I can play wii bowling. Or I can take watch my favorite show, Green Acres. What antics will the poople of heeter- I mean the people of Hooterville get into this time? Will the episode play out the same as last time or will I catch something new? Perhaps I'll plug in a Monk dvd. Will Adrian be overcome by another phobia? Will Natalie (or Sharona!) be able to hand him his wipes when he needs them? Everything is new, no matter how many times I watch it. I love it.

Or perhaps I'll sew something tonight. Crocet? Knit? Applique? Maybe I'll start something I'll never finish....Maybe it'll sit in my closet for a year before it complete. But who cares? Life is short and it needs to be filled with anything and everything I can think of. From Monk to my sewing machine. (Elias Howe, you were amazing!!!)

Enjoying the Classics......

I must admit it. I don't really like books. Okay, I love cool looking old books, but I don't read that much. I might read a Monk book and I have read Jasper Fforde, but that's about it. I need a few good laughs, and an old stuffy boring book just doesn't do it.
That's until I found Mark Twain. The Story Of The Good Little Boy is my favorite short story in the history of Ever. Its nothing short of a masterpiece. Little Jacob Blivens is such a good little boy who wants to end up in the Sunday School books about good little children. He dosen't cheat. He doesn't lie. He's written his deathbed speach for when he's gotten his death of cold saving a classmate from drownding. And the best thing about it is the ending. It is just plain weird!
Read it! You can find it online easy.
